Description

This course offers an opportunity to discover new sociological concepts, theories ans empirical experiences through texts which have not been translated into French. Students will develop their practice in reading and formulate a reasoned analysis on the basis of these texts. Being able to read articles in English enables them to open up their mind, to develop new perspectives and to discover practices of social intervention in other parts of the world. In this way, they can be more innovative in their professional development. Although they might not be expert in English, they can learn how to read efficiently a text and to find the information they are looking for.
